 Raw Teal blue blend

While I was busy winding yarn from cones into skeins I came across two of my favourite teal blue yarns. Teal blue is supposed to be a hot colour this year. For me teal is always a hot choice. One of the teal yarns is a thick and thin blend of mohair and raw silk. The other teal has a slub texture with a bit of a shine and is 100% rayon. I thought a multi-coloured, really, really fine strand of glitter would just give it a  little pop. Here is the result. I really like it but of course everything I offer I like, the things that I don't like never make it into inventory. It comes in 250 gram rolls and sells for $19.95 a roll and has 387 yards in the roll. I knit a small sample so you could see how it works up. The first seven rows are garter stitch and the next couple rows are stockinette on a 9mm needle. The pictures just don't show how nice this yarn looks or how it looks knit up. I think it would make a great fringed rectangular shawl or a lovely draped triangle shawl. To knit or crochet either of these in a full size you would probably need 2 rolls.

only 400 grams left

clearance price $20.00 for 400g

I knit up a simple to make cowl in this yarn and used less then
half a roll so you could make it wide, longer or easily get
two cowls from the single roll. It is 7" wide by 48" long
(long enough to go around your neck twice).
