  There are so many things to do and see in the area, lots of outdoor stuff, museums, waterfalls, art gallery, walking trails. If you want to know what is here check out www.myhamilton.ca which has a ton of stuff listed. I have visited the Devil's Punchbowl which is truly spectacular, did the garden open house tour which was really nice and met some great people on the tour.  The world renown Royal Botanical Gardens is located in Hamilton and has activities worth checking out all summer long in their gardens, museum and gallery. If you want to make the day trip to visit us here in my home store, have lunch at one of the hundreds of restaurants in Hamilton or Stoney Creek or drive a few more miles to wine country for a great lunch at one of the winery restaurants.

I am just around the corner from the Battlefield Park if you are into history- Battle of Stoney Creek in 1813. And up the hill from the Park is the Devil's Punch bowl. No water fall when I took this picture but the colours of the earth are dramatic,  millions of year of geology at a glance. There are over 11 water falls in the Hamilton area
